Gehört Lippstadt zu Ostwestfalen, zu Ostwestfalen-Lippe (OWL) oder gar zu Südwestfalen? Lippstadt gehört zum Kreis Soest und hat rein geografisch nichts mit dem viel weiter südlich gelegenen Sauerland und Südwestfalen zu tun. Die Gebiete sind eigentlich geografisch, klimatisch, kulturell und durch die quer verlaufende Autobahn A44 und den sogenannten „Haarstrang“ (eine Anhöhe) weit voneinander getrennt. Alleine der Begriff „Südwestfalen“ ist in der Bevölkerung nicht gebräuchlich.

Das wirkt auf den ersten Blick tatsächlich absolut unlogisch! Wenn man an direkt am Fluss Lippe wohnt und die Lippstadt sogar nach dem Fluss benannt ist, sollte man meinen, dass man mitten im „Lippe“-Teil von Ostwestfalen-Lippe liegt. Der Grund für diese Verwirrung ist ein klassischer Fall von „Fluss vs. Fürstentum“. Das L in OWL bezieht sich nämlich nicht auf den Fluss Lippe, sondern auf das historische Land Lippe. Hier ist die Erklärung, warum Lippstadt historisch und politisch knapp an OWL vorbeigeschrammt ist:

Das Lipperland (der heutige Kreis Lippe mit Städten wie Detmold, Lemgo oder Bad Salzuflen) war jahrhundertelang ein eigenständiges Territorium – erst eine Grafschaft, dann ein Fürstentum und nach dem Ersten Weltkrieg ein Freistaat. Als dieses Land Lippe sich 1947 zögerlich entschied, seine Unabhängigkeit aufzugeben und sich Nordrhein-Westfalen anzuschließen, wurden ihm in den Lipper Punktationen Sonderrechte garantiert. Um diese historische Eigenständigkeit der lippischen Bevölkerung zu würdigen, wurde der Regierungsbezirk Detmold offiziell Ostwestfalen-Lippe genannt. Das „L“ ist also ein politisches Erbe dieses ehemaligen Staates.

Unsere Adserver Blockliste enthält Domains und Sub-Domains von Servern die ausschließlich Werbung ausliefern und daher als unnötiger Datenbalast ausgefiltert werden können. So kann man unsere Liste als gute Basis verstehen die zwar keinen perfekten Schutz gegen unerwünschte und oft aggressive Werbung darstellt, aber vieles bereits erfasst hat das bedenkenlos ausgefiltert werden kann.
